Privacy policy

General information

The following notices provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data is any data by which you can be personally identified. For detailed information on the subject of data protection, please refer to our data protection declaration listed below this text.

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously and treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this data protection declaration. When you use this website, various personal data are collected. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done.

We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

1. Contact details of the responsible party

The controller is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data (e.g. names, e-mail addresses or similar).

The controller of the data processing on this website is: ATINO GmbH
Springorumallee 2
44795 Bochum

Phone: +49 (0)234 – 52 00 89 0
E-mail: info@atino.de

2. Collection of personal data when visiting our website

As a matter of principle, we collect and use personal data of our users only to the extent that this is necessary for the provision of a functional website as well as our content and services.

Each time our website is accessed, the provider of the site automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

The temporary collection of data by the system is necessary to enable delivery of the website to the user’s terminal device and to ensure its rendering. The storage in log files also takes place in order to ensure the stability and functionality of the website. Furthermore, the data serves to optimize our website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems against possible attacks from outside. This is also our legitimate interest in data processing according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR.

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. This is the case for the data collected for the provision of the website at the end of the respective session; in the context of the storage of data in server log files after thirty days at the latest.

The collection of data for the provision of the website and its storage in log files is necessary for the operation of the website, so that there is no possibility for the user to object.

3. Data processing and confidentiality when contacting us

If you send us inquiries via contact form, your data from the inquiry form including the contact data you provided there will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry. We do not pass on this data without your consent. The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR).

You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you entered in the contact form will remain with us until you revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (after processing your request has been completed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

You have the option at any time to object to the storage of your personal data that was transmitted to us via contact form or e-mail. In this case, the conversation cannot be continued. All personal data stored in the course of contacting us will then be deleted. Please send your objection to info@atino.de.

4. Use of cookies

The internet pages partly use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, more effective and safer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions that you have requested (e.g. shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analyzing your surfing behavior) are stored, these are treated separately in this privacy policy.

5. Analysis tools and third-party tools

When visiting our website, your surfing behavior may be statistically evaluated. This is done primarily with cookies and with so-called analysis programs. The analysis of your surfing behavior is usually anonymous; the surfing behavior cannot be traced back to you. You can object to this analysis or prevent it by not using certain tools.

You can object to this analysis. Please send your objection to info@atino.de.

Google Analytics

This website uses the service “Google Analytics”, which is provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) to analyze website usage by users. The service uses “cookies” – text files that are stored on your terminal device. The information collected by the cookies is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

IP anonymization is used on this website. The IP address of the user is shortened within the member states of the EU and the European Economic Area. This shortening eliminates the personal reference of your IP address. As part of the agreement on the order data agreement, which the website operators have concluded with Google Inc., the latter uses the information collected to create an evaluation of website use and website activity and provides services associated with internet use.

You have the option of preventing the cookie from being stored on your device by making the appropriate settings in your browser. It is not guaranteed that you can access all features of this website without restrictions if your browser does not allow cookies.

Furthermore, you can use a browser plug-in to prevent the information collected by cookies (including your IP address) from being sent to and used by Google Inc. The following link will take you to the corresponding plugin: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

Here you can find more information about the use of data by Google Inc.: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en

Google Web Fonts

This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to Google’s servers. This gives Google knowledge that our website has been accessed via your IP address. Google Web Fonts are used in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.

For more information on Google Web Fonts, please visit https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and see Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy.

6. Your rights

If personal data is processed by you, you are entitled to the following rights as a data subject within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) vis-à-vis ATINO as the controller:

  • You have the right to request information about the personal data processed about you from us in accordance with the statutory provisions (Art. 15 GDPR).
  • You also have the right to correct and/or complete any inaccurate or incomplete personal data concerning you (Art. 16 GDPR).
  • Furthermore, you may request that we delete the personal data concerning you without undue delay. (Art. 17 GDPR).
  • Likewise, you have the right to restrict processing under the conditions set out in Art. 18 GDPR.
  • You also have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you (Art. 21 GDPR).
  • You may also withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time. The revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation. Corresponding requests are possible via the contact details provided on this website.
  • If you believe that your legitimate interests have been violated in the processing of personal data concerning you by the ATINO or by a third party provider commissioned by the ATINO, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). For ATINO, this is the following supervisory authority:

State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia
PO Box 20 04 44
40102 Düsseldorf

Phone: +49 (0)211 – 38424 0
Fax: +49 (0)211 – 38424 10
E-mail: poststelle@ldi.nrw.de

7. Objection against advertising mails

We hereby object to the use of contact data published within the framework of the imprint obligation to send advertising and information material that has not been expressly requested. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.

Our social media sites

Data processing through social networks

We maintain publicly accessible profiles in social networks. The social networks used by us in detail can be found below.

Social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. can generally analyze your user behavior extensively when you visit their website or a website with integrated social media content (e.g. like buttons or advertising banners). Visiting our social media presences triggers numerous processing operations relevant to data protection. In detail:

If you are logged into your social media account and visit our social media presence, the operator of the social media portal can assign this visit to your user account. However, your personal data may also be collected under certain circumstances if you are not logged in or do not have an account with the respective social media portal. In this case, this data collection takes place, for example, via cookies that are stored on your end device or by recording your IP address.

With the help of the data collected in this way, the operators of the social media portals can create user profiles in which your preferences and interests are stored. In this way, you can be shown interest-based advertising inside and outside the respective social media presence. Provided you have an account with the respective social network, the interest-based advertising may be displayed on all devices on which you are or were logged in.

Please also note that we cannot track all processing on the social media portals. Depending on the provider, further processing operations may therefore be carried out by the operators of the social media portals. For details, please refer to the terms of use and data protection provisions of the respective social media portals.

Legal basis

Our social media presences are intended to ensure the most comprehensive presence possible on the Internet. This is a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The analysis processes initiated by the social networks may be based on different legal bases, which are to be specified by the operators of the social networks (e.g. consent within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR).

Responsible party and assertion of rights

If you visit one of our social media sites (e.g. Facebook), we are jointly responsible with the operator of the social media platform for the data processing operations triggered during this visit. In principle, you can assert your rights (information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and complaint) both vis-à-vis us and vis-à-vis the operator of the respective social media portal (e.g. vis-à-vis Facebook).

Please note that despite the joint responsibility with the social media portal operators, we do not have full influence on the data processing operations of the social media portals. Our options are largely determined by the corporate policy of the respective provider.

Storage period

The data collected directly by us via the social media presence will be deleted from our systems as soon as the purpose for storing it no longer applies, you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Stored cookies remain on your terminal device until you delete them. Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
